FORCED TO RESIGN!

I see that Nigel Hastilow, Conservative Party candidate for Halesowen and Rowley Regis has been forced to resign, forced to resign for representing the views of the people he represents and the views of the majority of people in this country. Its become a rum old world where as a servant of the people you cannot represent their views!

Enoch Powell, right or wrong?

Nigel Hastilow, Conservative Party candidate for Halesowen and Rowley Regis has declared that Enoch Powell was “right” on immigration, apparantly he will now have to explain himself to the Conservative Party Chairman!

The view I am about to put forward is not the view of our increasingly left wing press, the labour party and our increasingly cowardly Conservative Party but Enoch Powell is without question the greatest leader we never had, he was not in any way racist and it was the establishment and the press who decided his so called Rivers of Blood speach was racist!

Enoch Powell had, at the time of the speach, the overall majority support of the British people and that support continues, were he around today he would be by far our most popular political figure.

What Enoch did was to force the political agenda of the day but the attitude of  the government, opposition and the press amounted to censorship, they were not prepared to debate what was, and is still, a very important issue.

Even today any discussion of the issues about Race, immigration or assylum seekers etc are toboo issues, for the first time, and as a direct result of this controlling government this country is under censorship.

This country has and always will, welcome and immigrants but its perfectly reasonable to debate the issue and set standards, presumably they want to come here because they like our way of life and they should integrate into our society, our morals and our laws rather than the multicultural crap of the past 10/15 years.

This country has, quite simply, been ruined by politically correctness and a whole host of new career jobsworths in the legal, race relations, decrimination and social engineering professions.

Some people will call these views extreme but they are perfectly sound and the views of the mojority of the population, Nigel Hastilow, strange for modern day politics, was simlpy relaying the views of the people he represents.

Life in the Fast Lane!

Well, after many boring years watching F1 did you see the race on Sunday, absolutely fabulous, can’t wait until the British GP.

Spent the last few weeks putting together 2 super web sites,  Channel Shopping is a great shopping site where you can shop until you drop from your armchair, shopping at household names in complete confidence. The other is Master the Internet which is a site dedicated to reviewing and researching home business opportunities, check them both out.

Just 4 weeks to the start of the Football Season, this will be Tottenhams season, can’t wait because I can see them finishing at least 3rd, perhaps worth a little wager on Spurs for the treble Carling Cup, FA Cup and EUFA Cup, everybody will think I am mad but you lot just wait and see.

Do we centralise or decentralise?

Most large companies, at some point, consider centralisation and a lot of companies go through the process, a significant number then go on to decentralise which makes the whole process very expensive!

One particular company has 10 depots and they decided to centralise, the systems they installed centrally were superb and state of the art but when they turned to closing down their overhead out in the field they found it would effectively close down their business. This meant the company had created a whole new overhead for the company, even bigger than the existing overhead.

The answer was easy, admit the decision to centralise was wrong, make the focus of the company the depots and tranfer the technology installed at the centre to the depots. Add to this a small head office of MD, FD, SD, Personnel and admin and the company is immediately in profit, empower the depot managers to manage the businesses they understand and the company will thrive.

But in reality the company did both, they put all their credibility behind centralisation and at the same time committed to never closing a depot which effectively meant overheads of 3 times their competitors and losses of £1m per year.

Pride and the inability to admit a mistake means as far as this company is concerned it is past midnight.

A simple lesson if you are considering centralisation, always ask if I introduce new overheads centrally what will happen if I then compensate by closing existing overheads, if the answer is you will lose business then probably you are not a candidate for centralisation

Its easy, the secret of a good business!

Having studied many companies, a large proportion run by accountants, its amazing that for most the top focus is Profits and Costs.

Companies will never realize their potential if their main focus is on Profit and Costs, for a company to really move forward the top focus must be Customers and Employees, if your Customers and Employees are happy and loyal Profits and Cost Control will follow but if its the other way around full potential is rarely realized.

The trouble is that this is hardly ever understood by accountants, companies should aim to have people who understand the business making the runs and accountants keeping the score!

UNDER THE CAMERA!

I noticed last week that the Government, Local Government and the Speed Camera Partnerships are looking to install anvanced speed cameras in networks so they can track YOU and your average speed over miles, the possibilities are endless!
Apparantly these will be trialed initially in 20/30 mile zones and will do away with speed bumps, and in the current climate its understandable because speed bumps don’t raise money, cameras are also going to be painted a different colour so they blend in with their surroundings and become difficult to see.
I find this very sad because the excuse the authorities use is safety and the mantra speed kills but speed doesn’t kill, driving too fast kills and that could be 10mph, also a large majority of cameras now are placed to trap drivers with many giving no indication of the speed limit and this will multiply over the years.
The only conclution to draw is that the Police Force, who used to police with the consent of the British people but now police inspite of the British people, have joined the ranks of the Inland Revenue and become very devious tax inspectors, criminals go free!
What this Government has achieved is quite amazing, the surveylance under which we live would have been a source of pride to the old Eastern and Central European Communist dictatorships and the old Labour Party could only dream of what Tony Blair has achieved in distroying our Democracy, Freedoms, History and the sheer contempt he has shown for the Mother of Parliaments.
